Going GREEN makes sense and saves cents!
I've card about the environment since I was a kid - vegetarian in college, don't purchase gas from Exxon, etc. Now that GOING GREEN is fashionable, it is just that much easier to be effectively GREEN and live a sustainable lifestyle:
1) Our food is organic, seasonal and locally grown!!! We are now members of the GREEN THUMB CSA (Community Support Agriculture) in Watermill, NY. Not only are we eating healthy, but we are supporting a fifth generation Long Island farming family right on Montauk Highway in the Hamptons!
2) We are replacing light bulbs, toilets, etc. from EFI.org, Energy Federation Inc. This organization is was the nation's largest distributor of quality conservation products...and, is run by a consortium of energy companies!
3) Want to try going GREEN on the cheap? Duke Energy sells an energy saving kit for only $25 that includes halogen bulbs, low flow-high yield faucets, etc.
3) Our company is 100% digital, elminating photo processing chemicals of a wet darkroom.
4) Landscaping is organic and carbon reduced (manual mower).
